UltraISO: CD and DVD Image Creation, Editing and Conversion

UltraISO, developed by EZB Systems, is a Windows utility for creating, editing, extracting and converting CD and DVD image files. It can build an ISO image from files and folders, duplicate a disc to an image, and create bootable CDs and DVDs. Audio CD images are also supported.

The program can edit an existing ISO image directly, adding, deleting, renaming and creating directories inside the image, and it can extract files and folders from it without first converting the image. Boot information in an image can be preserved, and boot images can be added, removed or extracted.

UltraISO reads a wide range of formats, including ISO, BIN, IMG, CIF, NRG, MDS, CCD, BWI, ISZ, DMG, DAA, UIF and HFS, and can convert them to the standard ISO format. It supports ISO 9660 Level 1, 2 and 3 along with the Joliet extension, and it can set files and folders to a hidden attribute. The optimization of the image structure is intended to reduce the disc space an image occupies.

The interface uses two panes, one for the image and one for the local file system. Operations can be performed with the toolbar buttons or by drag and drop. Image files can also be opened by double-clicking them or from the Windows right-click menu.

The software runs on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, Server 2003 through 2012, XP, 2000, ME, 98SE, 98 and NT 4.0 SP6a or later. The stated minimum requirements are an Intel Pentium 166 MHz processor, 64 MB of memory and at least 10 MB of free disk space.
